Disaster Recovery
When you choose On-Site to manage your network, you can trust that we don’t over look any element in running a smooth network. Having a disaster recovery policy is one of those key elements. In today’s data driven business loosing data is not an option. The results of which could be lost revenue, deals or even going out of business.
We will assess your network and make recommendations on data retention programs. Depending on your needs we can implement and monitor your back up solutions so you can be sure that your data is safe and secure. In addition to backup procedures On-Site can come up with recovery plans including backup workstations and servers so if something does happen, a solution for getting your business back on-line is right at hand.
Rotating Backups
Rotating backups includes software and hardware that will backup all of your data. The software will backup your servers and notify key personal of successful or failed backups. We will also monitor your backup so if anything goes wrong we’ll be able to fix it right away. With this solution the backups are stored on hard drives. We recommend one goes home with key personnel to have as an offsite backup in case of fire or theft. You can have as many backups, rotations and hard drives as you need.
On-Line Backups
A great solution if you need your data secure and available in the event of a down server or workstation. We’ll install our software on your systems. At predetermined times the software will back your data up to our data center. This keeps an off-site backup in an encrypted data file at our location. The benefit to this solution over other on-line backup programs is that our data center is local. You don’t need to wait to download your server’s information. We’ll have it at hand to restore and get you up and running quicker.
High Availability Servers
A virtualized solution, we can develop a network in which you have redundant servers in place. If any system fails there is a backup and your server applications are immediately rebooted and back up and running. In this scenario downtime is drastically cut down and provides the time to properly resolve any issue with the afflicted server.
Roaming Profiles
Part of the SBS 2008 server solution. Roaming profiles are a way to save your personnel’s user profiles on the main server. In the case that a workstation is brought down by a virus or hardware error the users has some choices to continue their work. Since all of their data is duplicated on the server, all they must do is log onto another terminal. Be it a terminal session, a thin client, or spare workstation. An additional benefit to roaming profiles is since all user profiles are kept on the server that data is backed up every night when the server is backed up.
